Manual Handling Training for Healthcare Workers in Ireland

The course is structured as a half-day programme. Theory covers Irish legislation, anatomy and injury mechanisms, risk assessment using the TILE framework, and the specific ergonomic challenges of healthcare work. The practical session involves hands-on exercises with instructor feedback, and participants complete both a written and a practical assessment. Certificates are valid for 3 years.
